Clinical Staff

Frances Callahan

Clinical Manager, BHCST

  • In her 11 years at Johns Hopkins, Frances has provided mental health services and consultation to faculty, staff, and students throughout Johns Hopkins University and Medicine.
  • Her favorite thing about Baltimore is The American Visionary Arts Museum (AVAM), and she especially enjoys the Independence Day Pet Parade AVAM hosts every year.

Kim Sutter

Behavioral Health Intervention Clinician

  • Kim has worked as a mobile crisis counselor alongside law enforcement in Maryland for two decades. She also once had a mental health advice column in a local paper called β€œ Well-Advised!”
  • One of her favorite things about Baltimore is walking around the city, especially walking in Herring Run Park with family and friends.

Michael Wood

Behavioral Health Intervention Clinician

  • Mike has worked in Baltimore for the last 9 years in a variety of mental health positions, mostly working with vulnerable populations and those who have been chronically underserved.  At Hopkins, he looks forward to helping individuals work towards their best selves.
  • His favorite thing about Baltimore is the food – he thinks it has the best food scene of any city. He loves exploring a new neighborhood and trying a restaurant that he’s never been to before.

Public Safety Staff

Jarron Jackson

Senior Director of Public Safety, Homewood Campus

  • In addition to being a public safety professional, Jarron is also a Maryland certified emergency medical technician.
  • His favorite thing about Baltimore is the variety of cultural experiences that one is able to have simply by traveling from neighborhood to neighborhood. 

Jason Cowger

Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator 

  • In addition to his role at Hopkins, Jason also works as an AHA and ASHI Certified CPR Instructor and Public Life Safety Educator within the Volunteer Fire Department.
  • His favorite thing about Baltimore is the food – Baltimore has some of the best!
